What Makes Our Online Pregnancy Yoga Classes Unique?

Live, Interactive Sessions:
Unlike pre-recorded classes, every session is live, ensuring you receive real-time guidance and support. Our instructors make adjustments to your poses based on your body’s needs and provide feedback to ensure your safety. We prioritize individualized attention, helping you get the most out of each session.

Comprehensive Curriculum for Every Trimester:

  • First Trimester: Focus on building a strong foundation with gentle movements and breathing exercises that support your body during early pregnancy. You’ll also learn relaxation techniques to manage early pregnancy symptoms.
  • Second Trimester: Strengthen key muscle groups—particularly your back, legs, and pelvis—with targeted yoga poses. We focus on maintaining your posture and improving your balance while increasing energy levels.
  • Third Trimester: The final trimester prepares you both physically and mentally for childbirth. Through hip-opening exercises, deep stretching, and breathing techniques, you’ll feel more comfortable and ready for the labor experience.

Live Instruction and Personalized Support:
Our expert instructors are always available to answer questions and provide individual feedback during the class. This ensures that each session is adapted to your specific stage of pregnancy, offering safe modifications to suit your needs. One-on-one consultations are available if required, ensuring you always feel supported.

Holistic Wellness Approach:
Beyond just physical postures, our classes integrate mindfulness practices, breathing techniques, and meditation that help you connect deeply with your baby. This holistic approach not only prepares you for childbirth but also enhances your emotional well-being, reducing stress and anxiety. Our students have reported feeling more confident, calm, and connected with their pregnancy journey after attending our classes.

1. How does yoga help with pregnancy-related discomforts?

Yoga helps relieve common pregnancy discomforts like back pain, fatigue, and swelling by improving posture, increasing flexibility, and enhancing circulation. Gentle stretches ease muscle tension, while deep breathing promotes relaxation and reduces stress. Regular practice also strengthens the body, making it easier to carry extra weight and adapt to physical changes during pregnancy.

2. What should I wear for the yoga classes?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows free movement and keeps you cool. A supportive sports bra and a non-slip yoga mat are recommended for stability. If needed, keep yoga props like blocks or straps nearby for additional support, especially in later stages of pregnancy.

3. Can I continue practicing yoga in the later stages of pregnancy?

Yes, yoga is safe throughout pregnancy with appropriate modifications. In the third trimester, the focus shifts to relaxation, breathing techniques, and gentle movements that prepare your body for labor. As your belly grows, certain poses are adjusted to ensure comfort and safety.

4. How are the classes modified for each trimester?

Each trimester has different needs, and the yoga practice adapts accordingly. The first trimester includes gentle stretches and breathing exercises to ease nausea and fatigue. The second trimester introduces strength-building postures for stability and endurance. The third trimester focuses on relaxation, deep breathing, and pelvic-opening exercises to prepare for childbirth.

5. Are there any specific yoga poses to avoid during pregnancy?

Yes, some poses should be avoided or modified based on your trimester. Deep twists, intense backbends, and poses that require lying flat on your back for extended periods may not be suitable. Our instructors guide you through safe variations to ensure both you and your baby remain comfortable and supported.

6. How does yoga help with mental well-being during pregnancy?

Pregnancy can bring a mix of emotions, and yoga helps balance them by promoting relaxation and reducing stress. Breathing techniques calm the nervous system, while mindfulness practices encourage a positive mindset. Regular yoga sessions can also improve sleep quality, ease anxiety, and help you feel more connected to your baby.

7. Can yoga help with an easier labor and delivery?

Yes, prenatal yoga strengthens the body and improves flexibility, both of which are essential for labor. Breathing exercises help with pain management, while specific poses open the hips and improve pelvic mobility. Practicing yoga regularly can lead to a smoother delivery by keeping you physically and mentally prepared.

8. Is it safe to start yoga if I have never done it before?

Absolutely! Prenatal yoga is beginner-friendly and designed specifically for pregnancy. The sessions focus on gentle movements and guided breathing techniques, making it safe and accessible even if you have never practiced yoga before. Our instructors ensure that each pose is adapted to your comfort level.

Namaste! I’m Deepa, a certified yoga instructor, passionate about guiding people towards a healthier, more balanced life through the transformative power of yoga.

With over 7 years of experience teaching diverse yoga styles, including Hatha Yoga, power yoga, pilates, prenatal, I specialize in creating personalized sessions that cater to beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

Yoga is more than just a practice for me—it’s a way of life. My journey began in the year 2015 when I started doing yoga for my own self. I was suffering from back pain which was quite severe and was advised by the doctor to do physiotherapy but i chose Yoga which not only helped me rectify my back pain completely but has now become a part of my lifestyle……my passion through which I am able to healthify others as well.

I started taking sessions and gradually become a certified yoga instructor. The feeling of contentment that i get when my students say, “maam….my back pain is no more ..my thyroid meficines has reduced….i am getting good sleep ….my mind and body is relaxed” makes me sooo happy. I am very fortunate to be able to pass on this gift to others and be a part to make their journey in life more happier and healthier.

At Shyambhai yoga, I aim to make yoga accessible to everyone, no matter where they are. My online classes are designed to fit into your busy schedule, offering flexibility and personalized guidance to help you achieve your goals, whether it’s weight loss, stress relief, or simply finding a moment of peace.

Let’s embark on this journey together to cultivate strength, flexibility, and mindfulness in body and mind. I look forward to being part of your wellness journey!
