I am Dr. Shyamsunder Biyani, a passionate yoga therapist with over 18 years of experience in the transformative field of yoga and therapy. I hold a Ph.D. in Yoga, an M.Sc. in Yoga, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy. Certified as a Level 2 Yoga Teacher by the Ministry of AYUSH and Yoga Certification Board (YCB), and recognized by the International Yoga Alliance (IYA), my journey is deeply rooted in the ancient traditions of yoga.

As the Director of the Patanjalee Shyambhai Institute of Yoga & Therapy and Secretary-Trustee of the Patanjalee Shyambhai Yoga Foundation, I carry forward the legacy of my revered Guruji Sunderesan, who devoted over 70 years to yogic practices. My mission is to integrate yoga’s ancient principles with modern therapeutic approaches to promote holistic healing and wellness.

Through my career, I have been privileged to guide students in various universities, including Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, teaching Diploma, PG Diploma, B.Sc., and M.Sc. yoga courses. I have also shared my expertise through national and international publications, television appearances, and radio shows, earning accolades such as the Dronachariyar Award, Yoga Bhooshan Award, Yoga Kalaimamani, and The Best Teacher Award.

With a deep understanding of the human body and mind, I specialize in customizing yoga therapies for various disorders like back pain, migraine, insomnia, respiratory issues, stress, and more. By blending yoga practices with lifestyle modifications, I aim to offer a side-effect-free path to lasting wellness.
